EPIC Beaker Implementation Specialist

Cadent Sourcing is partnering with a rapidly growing AI technology company, based in Dublin. They provide software solutions for both non-clinical and clinical Pathology.

We are seeking an experienced EPIC Beaker Implementation Specialist who will work closely with technical contacts within our customer sites to manage and deploy working integrations with their LIMS systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • 3+ years of professional IT experience.
  • Understanding of common electronic data interchange formats and protocols.
  • Experience with HL7/FHIR is an advantage.
  • Experience with clinical laboratory IS/PACS solutions.
  • Experience with Sectra, Inspirata, EPIC Beaker or Meditech is a must.
  • A computer science background with strong proficiency in Python, Java, and Spring Boot is preferable.
  • Experience in developing web services & RESTful APIs.
  • Experience using ODBC / database connector technology.
  • Experience with SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience in agile development e.g. SCRUM, Kanban.
  • Understanding of extensible formats such as JSON / XML.
  • Use of Integration Engine technology a distinct advantage

The Role

  • Responsible for acting as a technical touchpoint for each deployment as well as writing the necessary software code to successfully transfer data to the company.
  • Interact with customers to develop bespoke integration solutions for their data sources.
  • Document and create visuals to represent systems, communications and their inputs/outputs.
  • Design system specifications in collaboration with technical customer personnel.
  • Troubleshoot and debug systems issues to ensure performance and quality of data.
  • Provide technical support during deployment, installation and system maintenance.
  • Log any bugs, feature requests or queries as necessary.
  • Work alongside other developers to resolve wider system issues.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €60,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
